THIS COLLECTION HAS NOT BEEN UPDATED SINCE NOVEMBER OF 2000!
Background
Axiom is a particular instance of the game Nomic, which has been around for several years now. It was originally created from the remains of the unfinished Furious rule set, which itself was a reaction to the results of the one turbulent week of Simplex game play. The history of Axiom presented here is from the most active months of the second incarnation of Axiom (which started April 1, 2000), as well as the final days of the first incarnation. These records span from March 20th, 2000 to October 16th, 200. I should note that some activity has taken place after this, but to the best of my knowledge, very little has happened. I, myself, lost my mail account to the list in March of 2000, and have not recieved information on Axiom since that time.
Table of Contents
- Rules - This is the ruleset for the game of Axiom.
- Office of the COTC - Throughout the games active period, I was the Clerk of the Courts. This meant that I was in charge of organizing case information, appointing judges, and posting onto the internet all records pertaining to court cases. At this time, I do not think there is another Clerk of the Courts, however I don't think I should be allowed that title anymore.
- Jennifer Mueller's Axiom Site - Jennifer Mueller is the founding member of Axiom. She wrote the original ruleset, and has been a very active member throughout its exsistance.
- Axiom Mail Archives - An HTML archive of every mail posted to the Axiom lists, up to October of 2000.
- Mail Statistics - A chart of the number of mails per day that went through the mailing list during the haydays of the second iteration of Axiom.
